Great pics, thanks for posting.
But it's a pity they've chosen only that one particular golden colour. Not that the new Z4 wouldn't look right, IMO it looks very fine in this finish, but I like it even more in the dark blue for example.

I think this is a very feminen color, I do not like it. To see so many of Z4s in this horrible color is like a nightmare:)
2006 C4S --to be ditched soon..

Another review:
I don't like those words:
"The body control - pretty hopeless in Normal, acceptable in Sport and Sport+ - is on a par with the SLK, but a world away from a Boxster, and to be honest I think the SLK is more nimble and feels lighter, keener to work with you at high speeds. It's like there's a hesitancy built-in to the Z4, even the engine feels happiest just stroking along using no more than 5000rpm. It's a smooth and terrifically powerful unit, but it doesn't zing to the red line like a BMW should."
Another not good review, this time by EVO magazine..
It's too heavy, unpleasant understeer (in tight corners; they say when accelerating out of a corner the rear grips so well the front end goes); the engine being mounted too far at the front - Audi-ish style
They gave 3.5 out of 5 stars. (if I remember correct, E86 Z4 Coupe 3.0si received all 5 stars)
I heard a few months ago that BMW is considering Z4 with fixed hardtop roof, they already tested one on Nurburgring. Car is lighter and chassis is stiffer. I think I will skip Z4 for now, probably I will order E92 335i with M package for a second car and maybe some day Z4 when/if they will fix those problems.
BMW cancel Z4 M project; another let down from BMW after E92 M3 CSL project.
I'm not against X5 M and X6 M but evenif there is more demand for these cars, it is a big shame for BMW to go away from its roots. I think X5 M and X6 M sytle cars have to be produced to finance more sporting models such as Z4 M, M3 CSL, M6 CSL, M1.
BMW should act like Porsche which produces Cayenne to finance GT3 and GT3 RS.
I remember an interview with head of M Motorsport Division in BMW, from a couple of years ago. At that time he stated that:
"An M car will never be AWD, and its engine won't be turbocharged. We won't produce an M version of X5, never. This is why we have 4.6is. And we won't produce M7 as it is not sporting enough".
I think philosophy of the Companies are changing like people are changing their minds

REALZEUS:
Pride: Unfortunately, the head of the M Division changed. The new one does not believe in these principles I guess. Shame on him!
As I told you before, I'm not against big powerful SUVs. As long as there is a demand for this type of vehicles, they must be produced. However, this type of marketing vehicles should finance lower valume more sports oriented models such as CSL and Z4 M.
Otherwise, you betray your roots

BMW also said that E85 Z4 won't be in M version. But it was...
I hope more for a fixed roof version with updated N54 engine (same as F01 740i got). According to my source, sDrive40i with updated N54 engine will be introduced later...
Easy: Yes, for example Z4 M Coupe looks more aggressive and sportier...
Kreso was right when he wrote that Z4 looks better in darker colours. I usually don't like black colour for a roadsters or coupes, but Z4 looks the best in black colour IMO:

I don't like side crease on new Z4, but its well hidden with black colour
