Thanks for those links! Very interesting videos.
Nice to see a Tiff Needell report from the days when Top Gear really was a car program. Even he has had to dumb-down his presentation for current Fifth Gear programs to try to please the "masses".
Re Autocar vid: Can it really be true that you can get a decent 993 Turbo in the UK in the thirty thousands (pounds)? I was a little surprised. Thanks so much for the links!
Especially the Tiff review of the 993tt made me smile... one of the cars on my list, love the looks and the performance, as well as the fact that it was the best car on the road in those days...

If you're willing to buy a crashed one, then yes.

More like £35-45k, depending on mileage, etc.

Thanks for that!
I did write "the thirty thousands", which would include 39,999 pounds.
Those prices look lower than I remember LHD / Euro prices being last time I looked. It's a shame I have an aversion to dark blue metallic paint.
I need too check current local prices here again. Maybe UK prices are just exceptionally good (low!) at the moment due to currency exchange rates?
A non-turbo 993 would appeal more to me personally, but I assume the normal turbo/naturally-aspirated surcharge still applies to the prices shown?
