    How is the 599 GTB market?

    I'm just curious, how is the 599 market in everybodies own countries respectively. Has the hype slown down, or is there still an endless waiting list to acquire one?

    I was offered a "significant" discount on a factory order but didn't pursue just exactly how large this was as I'm not looking for a 599. I just cancelled my California slot and got my deposit refunded as I've decided to keep my F430 spider instead and run it alongside my Scuderia until the F142 is launched next year. From what I can gather on some UK forums a large number of California orders have been pulled so it'll be interesting to see how this model performs. Late model, low miles used 599's are now around similar money to a reasonably optioned California. Whilst it may not have a folding hardtop it has 4 extra cylinders giving it much better performance than it's smaller sibling. There is a general worry here that the California is substantially over priced and will suffer steep depreciation especially in the current economic climate. Having said that all current models are seeing significant depreciation here just now Smiley

    You should see depreciation on 612 also, nasty...

    In a word, the Ferrari market has tanked for ALL models. No doubt the market has had a lot to do with it. However, I am convinced the California GT has played a role in the steep decline in the value of Ferrari models.

    There is one for sale at a substantially lower price. The owner financed the vehicle and the bank repo'd it and it letting it go at a great discount.

    Rosso Corsa, grey interior with red stitching, lots of cf trim, bucket seats, ccb's, 2008, 400 miles. only thing I don't like is the ugly pentagram shaped wheels.

    Some people just amaze me in their stupidity and reasoning in buying... NO, financing these cars!

    WOW way to loose a cool chunk of cash... It would be better if went to Casino and tried his luck there!

    well here in DR Ferraris only come by placing an order, no financing. There was an order placed for a rosso corsa but the client pulled back. So no 599 here, not even one. there is 1 Scud and 1 enzo though.

    Well, I think you can't really compare a Zonda to the "average" Ferrari. To an Enzo maybe, but not to an 599 for instance. Smiley
