But, from all that It sounds like it really will look like a Pshop posted few posts above +California ugly tail lights and a bigger boring sounding gas guzzler engine...
I really hope I will be wrong, I am looking forward to new suspension and DCT, though. :)

andrea:Thanks again Andrea. Performance expectations sound promising. The 200k price tag was said to me by my dealer already three years ago. But LP560 plus CCM is also 200k, so no surprise here. Wind-Tunnel-Testings can only be good for the customer, I hope they'll get it right with the electronics, as well of course with the new design.

Nothing new from a German dealer, nevertheless here is what he said:
- F142 will be a very sporty model, similar to a Scuderia
- Ferrari doesn't have to care about comfort issues any longer, as there now is a Califonia
- weight close to Scuderia, maybe even a bit lighter
- something between 530 and 560 hp
- DCT for sure
- price starting at 210k or 220k Euro
- presentation late this year, first deliveries February/March 2010

The second and third to last pics show the rear of the car. Those air inducts are huge. My first thought was extra cooling for a new turbo engine.
At this point, its safe to say nobody knows what the specs, gearbox, body, or motor of the replacement car will be. For all we know Ferrari probably have some mules running around with turbo motors and DCT's while other mules are equipped with NA motors and a new version of superfast tranny.
I think that makes sense. The engineers wanna firgure out which combination will yield better performance. This is pure speculation of coarse.
Heist:Although I would would be pleased with a N/A-V8, could you please elaborate who "already confirmed" it? And how can you be so sure about the capacity of the new engine?

I believe it was leaked by one of the Ferrari insiders that although Turbo was on the table at one point as an option, it was taken off when it was came down to start development just like AWD using a electronic front diff/drivetrain was considered briefly.
If I can find the reference article, I'll post it.

That design looks "detuned." I'l bet it's close though as it resembles the Kaleefornia.
It's certainly a PS, as you can see many element of the California (front and rear lights, rims), but it does look quite good IMO.
