Nah, I'd take a pass on it.

Not as attractive as the CLS or the Volkswagen ripoff vers.

    Re: AUDI Concept (A7) revealed

This looks like a guy without lower lips.... dont like it at all from the back.

    Re: AUDI Concept (A7) revealed

I don't like the design... The rear, in particular, seems unbalanced. The front isn't 100% convincing either. Seeing this I would argue that Porsche did a better job (design wise) with the Panamera Smiley

    Re: AUDI Concept (A7) revealed

Cars from practically all manufacturers are becoming so perfect in all aspects of performance these days.

This makes it difficult to differentiate on quality or performance like in the past.

As a result manufacturers are trying to be different for the sake of it and to come up with new ideas, in order to do the extra sale.

Most of these niche-within-a-niche cars satisfy no practical purpose and are just gimmicks for people who like to try any new idea that appears.

I suppose the A7 and most of all the X6 fall in this category.

    Re: AUDI Concept (A7) revealed

Production A7/S7 will be little bit different(exterior rear view mirrors for example) but, design core is the same. Most interesting engines will be new 3.0TDI with biturbo and 300ps and 4.0TFSI with about 394ps in S7. All standard with 7speed S Tronic.

    Re: AUDI Concept (A7) revealed

The front looks nice, but just wondering where to put the No. Plate?

The rear ist so ugly, that you rather always have a trailer which makes it difficult to see it!

    Re: AUDI Concept (A7) revealed

I would but it over Panamera any day.  This will look more civil in production version.  It resembles the Lambo version alot while I do not think we need to worry about whether this is a final shape or there is a possible cacoon or not:) Smiley

    Re: AUDI Concept (A7) revealed

All these four door coupes like the Panamera, the CLS, the BMW CS (postponed or cancelled) and now the A7 thay all follow the general style of the other cars in the respective ranges. No surprises here.

If you like one car from a manufacturer's range you will most probably (although not 100% certainly) like them all.  This is how the styling/marketing game is played.

As far as I know 4.0TFSI in S7 will be the biggest engine. Bigger one will be in new A8. Just not right from the start...

Absolutely agree about the rear BTW. Smiley

Seems they will place the A7 between A6 and A8 then (as the name already suggests...) Smiley

    Re: AUDI Concept (A7) revealed

I like it. It's certainly better than some of the alternatives.

    Re: AUDI Concept (A7) revealed

WOW what a 180 turn by audi! No 22" rims! we are back where it all started on 16"ers.

    Kudos to you Audi!

Yes. It would help a lot if Audi finally switched to a RWD platform.
