    I still have my original old rims laying at the house. Perhaps I will have them sprayed black and have full slicks mounted on them. Tire size for those wheels are 195/50/16

    Haha, I keep telling myself that. I'm going install another set of springs as I think the original set were faulty. I just got back from my holiday so I will try get my car in hopefully sometime next week. I also ordered a new pair of headlights to update the front look a little bit. Will keep you posted.

    Excellent.

    What about some carbon buckets and a set of 5 point harnesses.  On reflection, a little impractical perhaps.

    Sounds like you intend driving this one all the time. :)

    Ok new updates. I had a new performance bypass valve and larger inlet hose installed. This thing is really hauling now. I broke my old intercooler couplers while installing that part so I had to order a new pair. I also got a CF M7 air plate diverter which I'm waiting to arrive. New Carbotech brake pads for the front and rear. New HID headlight housings (angel eye and running light angel eyes). JCW CF dash, CF rings for speedo, CF rev counter, CF side mirrors and aircon vents. I think I'm also going to get the JCW Aero kit and grills as I quite like the look of it. The car also had it's seat rails replaced as they were getting a bit old. I hope to be done soon! These will seriously be my last mods.

    I always liked the look of CF, I might do the Z3 MCoupe's interior next. Got the CF JCW handbrake handle, JCW CF downtubes and JCW aero front bumper, top and middle aero grill only. M7 ultimate lower front aero grill and ultimate lower rear bumper grills now ordered as well.

    Your memory is good Res! My M7 lower aero grill arrived yesterday. I'm still awaiting the following goods to arrive:

    JCW CF dash (Only being shipped today from UK. Should have it by early next week.)

    JCW CF gear knob, JCW CF handbrake leaver, JCW CF downtubes (Should be in customs as we speak. Might have it end of this week.)

    M7 CF air plate diverter, angel light running lights, Alta intercooler couplers (same status as the JCW CF above.)

    Carbotech brake pads (same as above.) I'm only going to install this once my original JCW pads run out. Just ordered now to save on shipping costs.

    Halo angel eye xenon headlights (same as above.)

    I got my JCW Aero front bumper and grills 2 days ago, the bumper is at the spray shops and I should get it back today. I need to let the paint cure for about a week before I can install and send the car to get the 3M film put on to avoid stone chips. So I'd guess the D-day would be end next week hopefully! Then I'm DONE!

    Will do so guys, I'm just waiting for the stuff to clear customs. They are really slow. I have received about half of the packages so far.

    Hi Ron, yes the Mini is very special to me. I will never let it go! Plus it has been quite an adventure getting everything together from all corners of the globe.

    Hi Mike, you are absolutely right. Things where you put such an effort in and things which you cant buy that easily anymore you should never give away.

    I feel somehow many times the same. Its not the Porsche where the center of the heart is in. And in your case, with all the Beau's in the Garage you tell us that there is this little car right in the middle of your heart.

    Totally understand that!

    Ok I got my Aero bumper back. Fitted the M7 lower grill and I think it looks great!

    I continued to install the new headlights that arrived.

    My car is blind!

    My Mini's new pair of eyes.

    I quite like the new look, subtle yet it makes the car look totally new again.

    Still missing the new angel eye running lamp (where the park light and indicator is). Once I have that tomorrow I will put it on and I can get started on the wiring for the headlights. Then I can put on the bumper.

    Thanks guys!

    I got my angel eye parking lights today. So I will commence on fitting that today. Need to fit the replacement intercooler couplers as well.

    The car is scheduled to go in tomorrow to have its protective film put on for stone chips etc. I'll have the car back tomorrow afternoon.

    They finally located the parcel with my angel eye parking lights, had a bit of a hiccup there.

    Last two items I am waiting for are:

    CF Dashboard

    CF Gear Knob, Handbrake lever & downtubes

    Once I have those items my car will be completed!

    Nice job Mike. The car looks like it has a special character to it now and must be a blast to drive. Have you noticed any torque steer with the added power?

    Latest pics! I'm going to tackle installing the CF dashboard this weekend.

    I'm basically done on the exterior, just waiting for the black fog light surrounds from BMW then the exterior is done.

    I really love that Mini. I like that you stayed to "normal" dimension tires and original look. This keeps it more classy.
