Gosh, that Ruby Red Panamera is truely gorgeous. For some reasen when you click to enlarge the picture, it looks truely stunning- especially when compared to some plain vanilla 7/S/A8.
Interior is juicy as well.....

Your wallet better grow at the same rate as the Panamera, even the Turbo, comes absolutley bare with no option. Not even bluetooth support, rear wiper, CD changer, AUX input or floor mats are standard. This is very different from the S600 which comes standard with all options you ever dreamt of.
But it's really no different than what Porsche been doing like forever, almost every single piece of leather/trim/decorations inside/outside anything Porsche produced IS a option. It's how Porsche sell cars, 'customization' as they called it. They could do it like Lexus/Acura where every car is loaded, there is no bare car and just about the only option is engine choice and navi.
I would LOVE Porsche to make every car a Turbo and loaded with Navi, Bluetooth, carbon trims, contrast stitching, keyless entry/drive, heated/cooled seats, etc so I don't have to order and wait for my car, but people may not want what I want: some can't afford the Turbo and prefer a smaller engine, and maybe some here will go for the bare car, some want navi but not bluetooth, some will want it loaded but without the contrast stitching. Some want the rear wiper and some don't, etc.
The 911 is different though. The Panamera is a luxury car and luxury is all about options that increase comfort and convienience. I'm unsure whether consumers will appreciate this when all luxury cars above 100k comre loaded off the rack. Sure the car is unique and fast but someone might as well sette for a Cayman S and an S550 for the same price as a well speced Pana Turbo.

OK guys, finally found some time to throw my VERY limited photoshop skills at this car :P
I hope someone more skilled will try to do a better job at it, but the idea is to incorporate the roofline and the rollbar look of the carrera gt in the roofline of the panamera. Additionally, I think the CGT has a lowered section in longitudinal direction in the roof. That might look good in the panamera as well; the turbo has a hood scoop that might complement the looks.

Yes, Brownmania at Porsche...
For example me favourite colors from Porsche are Lavagrau Metallic from Cayenne Turbo S(and new GTS PD3 edition) and Carbongrau Metallic from Panamera. Just, I would order them on Cayman S or 997.2 Turbo for example...
Some Panamera colors are nice, other are
.

I am 100% in agreement with you on Lavagrau Metallic . However , in Panamera I see blend (nice one) of retro and contemporary design . For that reason, I feel / imagine - since no good pic. so far - that Cognac Metallic could compliment Panamera - nicely . I am eagerly waiting for hi-rez picture ( may be you can help 
)

Misha, I´ve seen it today in the configurator... and I wanted to configure one and post it as something to avoid at any cost....

.. but I had no time to do it. Anyway my favourite colour is the Carrera GT I think and the ruby red... (ruby red actually in Panamera I see it perfect for a porn star ). By the way if you order a Turbo one in any shade of brown... I´m in for a ride...

That was just a litlle gag . Based on pics. we've seen so far , my favorite color is : Cognac metallic . I don't know ( havn't seen on configurator ) what Luxor Biege metalic looks like ? If you have any pic.(s) , pls. post it .
