GT3 RS 1year / 26.000 km
I share some my first year with a GT3RS. It has been a great year. Many track events everywhere, long distance tourings with wife (and no kids on back seat...), as well as suit&tie daily drive, night flights, and happy tail & sound tricks in snow and on streets. Probably 6 sets of tyres. One month without license, just listening engine noise in the garage. Two very fast laps on a track with hand-tightened rear wheelbolts, almost killing myself but ruining the wheel (but it did not come off !) German autobahn 328 speedo reading. Getting the most out of the car on 18'' BBS, full slicks, aggressive camber and full dowforce rear wing setting. Some more flexible encounters with police in Eastern European countries :) Thanks go to Porsche engineers, living and deceased, for this terrific car. And local Porsche club. As for failures, I'd call the wear-out of PCCB by 20,000 km a bad surprise. Otherwise, it (or she?) is as it was created. The issue actually is not the car but the driver, about learning to drive, finding ways, the car makes you a centerpiece and you must focus on yourself when you drive. That's why I started NOT to answer phone when driving the GT3 - you just need to concentrate on what you see ahead, and feel from the car. In that sense there is exploration for years to come. Hopefully pictures speak better than words. Enjoy.
