Porsche being a small manufacturer hasn't had the latest technology at its disposal. This applied to engine and chassis as well as to convenience features.
I expect that with the closer (to say the least) connection to a mainstream manufacturer i.e. VW Group, this will not be a problem anymore.
It will be BMW who will appear the small player!

racerx don't expect the standard of your favourite, the 928, in today's design environment!
Look at other brands too and compare new and old. BMW 6-series, M-B S class, even Ferrari and Lamborghini are suffering.
It might be the designers' fault or it may be what the consumer wants and we cannot understand it!
Anyway, if i were in the market for a large(r) sedan with a difference, I would consider the Panamera very seriously, from what I've seen so far and from the spec I've read. Fortunately, I'll never buy a sedan, so I don't have this dilemma.

The interior looks like a very luxurious car... That's not the reason why I fell in love with this brand.
I keep on feeling this love story with Porsche is going nowhere... Huge CO2 gaz guzzlers, heavy 4-door sedans, this brand is definitely ran by finances. If at least all of this would find a compensation in a light, agile, less powerful car... Does the world have to be ruled only by finances?
