    LOL, sun glasses button. Okay, that should not be a problem to add a separate "sun glasses" button for PSE on/off. I have one... even though it is not on the PCM console (unfortunately).

    Yes, installed a few weeks ago.. I love it too much, what a cool addition to the car, even though it should be standard!! LoooL...I laugh so much punching it, its just a meaner sound and growls at high speeds. After these last weeks, it is crackling when downshifting..For a girls ride, its just too much fun!! Getting pics together..Love the changed out tips!!

    Not a great pic, its horrible, taken at dusk, but gives you an idea of the PSE tips...love the on/off switch..

    Curious, since my dealer here in Boston wants to have 3'500 without switch.

    Would you mind sending me the link? Is this the original P PSE ? How did your P dealer react when you supplied the PSE, and he could just invoice the labour? Tx for your answer.

    Just had my PSE fitted in Sweden
    Sounds GREAT
    Annoying cut off between 50 kmh and 80 kmh, so I unplugged the electrical switch ,now its on all the time !
    If you can re-program the ecu for better performance surely the same programer must be able to get rid of the cut off .Just like de-limiting a Merc etc.for top speed!

    It would be a piece of cake. But Porsche doesn't want us to have that feature.

    I paid $2150 for the PSE and $529 for the install, connected to the 'Sport' button (from the Sports Chrono) on my center console. It was my dealer's first PSE install on a 997, and they said it went without a hitch.
