TB993tt:Whoopsy:Holy, 10W-60, you need that thick an oil for the hot end?
My shop said to try this, it is supposed to be for older high mileage engines to help stop them leaking although this engine has only done 17K miles

The Classic oil is interesting and they recommend their 10-60 (as you say for 993s), makes me wonder if it is indeed the Mobil stuff I have used, repackaged
I truth my 3.8 engine is very similar to a 997GT2/turbo engine so it doesn't really need a classic oil, I was enjoying revving it out to 7000rpm last night through the first four gears, it is not some plodding classic show car
