i think most people know that merc is participating in F1. they don't have to adopt the MP4 design to prove it.

I only count 3 cylinders on the "V8". That is actaully the new variable valve, 4 valve/cylinder, direct inject V6 that is the start of a whole new engine range for MB. Gasoline direct inject! Its about time, only 4 years into the new Century! It just makes so much sense.

The car looks great...
, however I am not crazy about the radial style rims. They look like the same ones found on the SL55 AMG. I'd really like to see the C55 AMG's prototype five spoke rims on it, think it would be a great combo.
The SLR inspired design was a great idea, makes the car more obvious than the boxy R170, also makes it more aerodynamic and so on. I'd like to see it in person as it looks likely a substantialy larger car than the R170. I'd buy if it looks good in person, and that'd be the 55 AMG of course.
Speaking of the SLK55, did anyone notice that it has a stick??? Exciting, hopefully it's a good stick!
