I just replaced my 19" Sport Design wheels with 19" Kinesis F110. I purchased the Kineses wheels with Michelin tires. I want to sell my 19" Sport Design and was wondering if there is a place to post for sales on this site or any other site with high Porshce traffic. My OEM wheels are pristine condition with Pirelli tires and had exactly 2933 miles on them when I took them off today. I see them for sale on ebay but was wondering if anyone knew of any other sites. Also interested in opinions as to the price I should ask for the wheel/tire combo.
I will post some pics when the weather clears a bit and I can clean the tires. Very happy with fit and finish of the new wheels.
Bob, Can you post the Kinesis wheels. I been looking at Kinesis and Champion monolite. Did you go to a 305mm tire on an 11.5 inch wheel in the rear and, if so, did you do a 8.5 inch wheel in the front? Thanks, Chris
I got the OEM tire size - 235/35-19 (f) and 295/30-19 (r) and wheels are 8.5 x 19 (f) and 11 x 19 (r). I was told by Wheel Enhancements that Kinesis only makes an 8.5 for the front in a 19". I weighed the OEM tire wheel and compared to the Kinesis tire and wheel the OEM fronts were 47 lbs and rears were 57 lbs and the Kinesis tires and wheels were 41 (f) and 48 (r). Quite a difference.
This is the exact wheel that I got - silver painted center and polished outer rim with both the center and outer lip clear coated. BTW, the Porsche center cap fits perfectly into the center cap.
Do you live in Naperville? I used to live in Brookdale (a Naperville community) and your picture looks like it could have been taken in my old front yard.
Really close to Naperville but not in Naperville. A bit West. If you have not been back for awhile the whole area is exploding. In fact, Kendall County, is the second fastest growing county in the USA. It possesses the holy trinity of real estate development (location, location, location) and many of the major highways look like a franchise free-for-all.
I absolutely love this wheel too. Red911's 997S takes on a completely different, sweet, look with these pics. Just for kicks, look at Champion's RS98 (Wheel Enhancements.com and/or Championmotorsport.com have pics.) and tell me what you think compared to this Kinesis wheel. Very similar, but subtle differences.
Reeeeeeeeeally nice. Clean and sharp. WOW! Makes me wonder what guys are thinking when they choose "decorative" machine screws along perimeter (unless absolutely necessary for three piece wheel perf.).
I called to order Kinesis F110's today and the dealer told me that Kinesis was purchased by Asanti and F110's might be discontinued. Will find out more tomorrow.
Very upset so I might go for champions. Really a shame as Asanti is known for "blingy spinner wheels"... Very tacky...
Up in the air between Champion RG5 or RG19's. Really wish there was a better story for F110...
