Not sure what you mean but with the right tires and undercarriage protection, the Cayenne easily beats the Macan off-road. I do not know New Zealand but if you check YouTube, you can see some pretty impressive off-roading with the Cayenne. There are of course better off-roaders out there but if you are looking for a nice compromise...

Im sure it beats Macan but that is a very low standard. I read somewhere a guy who had been invited on a P off road test.... and hoped to find some one skilled like 4trac who had done it
My dealer says Even with Sky's skills driving, we would break the Cayenne up some small station track Way Back In

My dealer says Even with Sky's skills driving, we would break the Cayenne up some small station track Way Back In
Not me; my Cayenne tests on roads, sealed or not, just tell me I like Range Rovers better....for my uses. Far prefer to trade off that last 10% on-pavement prowess, which I never use in a truck, for 50% more security off pavement, which I often use. And, I just cannot see how a company from Germany, where there are almost no unpaved roads, can truly "get" driving off pavement or off roads. Especially Porsche whose brand is all about road/track performance. I will likely upgrade my RR when I get back to NA - just trying to decide if the diesel power is what I want / need.
Of course, surrounded as I am right now by all sorts of well equipped Series Land Cruisers etc, all the EU trucks seem a bit car-like.

Ah yes, well said.... And as long as we have a decent chance of washing down a "small
crossing" never to see the truck again, we are keeping our financial profiles low off road - with the 2 Yeeps😎
We've taken to trucking the Yeep cross country and driving the Gt4 between fun spots and on track days- 0ff road and on road non overlapping knife blades
