Rossi:
No RWS is disappointing. Period.
Big chance from Lamborghini missed out to surpass turbo-monster-cars like 488 and McLaren variants with something special, as the the second crucial point next to RWS, weight-reduction, won't happen as well.
Very disappointing.
Had a talk to my neighbor today, he is very interested in the Huracan Performante and put himself on a list to order one, even if he isn't quite sure yet (he didn't want another McLaren but after he heard about the 720, he isn't so sure anymore).
According to him, his sales guy told him that the car doesn't have RWS and that RWS will be available with the Huracan Facelift(!). Also, he told him that the Huracan Performante gets under 650 hp (which is similar to the information I got recently from someone here in the forum). Rumored price tag in Germany is around 250k EUR and car already has pretty much everything in it with a very nice Alcantara interior. Unfortunately, the gigantic rear wing we saw is also happening, there won't be a change.
0-200 kph performance will be slightly better for the Huracan Performante, "slightly under 9 seconds" are rumored. Not a substantial change from the Huracan. Top speed is rumored to be 335 kph.
Car will be officially announced soon, latest in Geneva.
Engine is basically the same as the Huracan engine, just with a different intake and exhaust system.
