I guess it looks so much like the 993 that I am somewhat shocked. Don't get me wrong I love the 993 as a matter of fact I want one, but I can't fit.
I think the 997 will look really good once factory photos are released. The above pic I have seen before and on first sight I thought it was shopped, but I guess not?

Now, I know for sure that the bottom photo is indeed a shop. Look at the Porsche crest on the hood. It doesn't match up with the lighting on the car. Besides I don't think I have ever seen a Porsche prototype with the crest on the hood. They did really good on that one.

I hope you're wrong, not because I want you to be wrong, but because I think that even though that car looks nice, I think that Porsche can do better than that.
I personally still think they are shopped thought

The upper picture from Ron's(!) post is not photoshopped, it shows a camouflaged 997. The lower picture from the same post (magazine) is photoshopped, it is actually a mule pic photoshopped to what the author thinks the 997 will look alike.
I try to give you a little hint, guys: the front lights are a bit larger (classic shape but not really round) and the rear lights reach around the edges and are longer and a little bit higher than the rear lights from the 996.
The exterior changes won't be as dramatic as the changes from the 993 to 996 but the 997 looks very nice and very refined. Everything seems to be right now, no more experiments.
The interior is slightly different too but not as much as I'd have wished to be. You can't have it all I guess.
