Re: 991 GT3 RS
JR-550:We also drove the GT3RS on ice, was great!. But have to admit the 911 Turbo are easier to put into a drift compared to the GT3RS. At the Ice Force S we also drove the cupcar on ice this is really something else. Yes Whoopsy also the Cayman 718 was there. This was a complete disaster, they put tires with only 2 mm spikes on. With these tires the car was really undriveable on ice. Even the instructors could not get it to work. Later I was informed that they did not run the Cayman's on 5 mm spikes because the ice was to thin?. Bye the way on the Panamera Turbo's we had engine failures (error: reduced power) looks like the new Panamera's were not (yet) for drifting. The engine failure happened after a few laps, on 2 cars.
Cup car had immense grip!, Really hard to get it sideways.
Last year they put the shortest spikes on the new C2S, that car was impossible to drive too, short spike combined with the on/off nature of the boost and rear wheel drive is a really bad combination.
Did you guys get hot laps in the Cup car? Or even the 918? (they should have 2 of those in the garage)
