¨The .2 GT3 should be much faster than this to justify the hierachy.... 7.10 ??
It should be as good as GT R almost... if this is 7.16 or 7.14, THEN my statement that the gts will kick the GT3 ass on autobahn and roads will be clear... turbo will outperform badly....
If the case I wonder it I still need to buy this generation ...... Kreso, any convincing argument there ??

7:18 in white with new Corsas
And 7:14 if using whitewall tires!

The new GTS does 12 seconds less than the 'old' one and 4 secs better than the actual S. Really impressive given the small amount of hp increase...

J.Seven:Thanks for sharing these great comparo pics. The new one looks so much better and modern, it´s the perfect 911. Porsche made a wonderful Job on 991, better than I was expecting, from every angle car looks stunning.
Design-wise I agree, even if I'm not a fan of the classic Beetle-like mid exhaust pipes (they look good on the GT models because they are narrower together) for the PSE but the turbo engines really aren't my thing, sorry.

KMM:As is mostly the case with Porsche, newer is better.
Like I said...better looking yes, maybe and faster, of course. Better? Well...
The switch to turbo charged engines has certainly changed the character of the Carrera models.

True. But for me the gts is the best combination of turbo power and non turbo look.
I love that it is a turbo in disguise with an amount if horepower that still can be handled/used on public roads (kind of). The almost 600 hp of a Turbo S are too much for my taste...

I prefer the 997 somehow. I think it mostly has to do with missing the 4 exhausts in the new one.. I do need a lot of time to get used to those two central-ish located exhausts. The 997 GTS will age very very well.

I painted the lower valence and ceramic coated the tips matte black. I think the result is not quite up to GT3 appearances but not bad.

Power can never be too much, especially if traction is no real issue (AWD) but the Turbo S sounds much worse than the turbo charged Carrera models, so I would probably choose them over the Turbo/S as well.

Very nice...my daughter just would like to see a V10 engine and a Huracan badge on this rear. 
(just in case you don't know, my daughter's dream car is a Kermit green Huracan).

Is the color Birch Green which is PTS or the regular green which has slight upcharge?
The GTS PSE is the same as the C2S as far as I can discern. Lichtgrun (253) is on the approved PTS list.

It appears that way...I am not aware of any (sound) improvements, even if one source claims that the sound has been slightly improved (same person said the same about the 991.1 Carrera GTS exhaust but I couldn't tell any difference).
