It is a bit of driving on the road and on track and that is about all the letter says. The salesgirl who sent it out is away today so I thought I would ask you lot.
Its about time they sent me a freebie as I have had bugger all out of them, not even a bottle of champagne when i collected my car a year ago.

I've done the Boxster one. You go to your OPC where you meet up with a Porsche driving instructor. You then drive their car - a fully loaded (and I mean fully loaded) Boxster S in my case - to the nearest track (MIRA test circuit in Nuneaton for me). The instructor then takes over and does a few laps, going throught the braking and turn-in points with you, and then you get to have a go. I did around 10 laps. The instructor then gets you to do some emergency manouvers to demonstrate the abilities of the car. This included accelerating to 100mph and then emergency braking whilst have no hands on the steering wheel. After that he got me to accelerate up to 100 and then emergency brake whilst swerving left and right to avoid an imaginary obstacle.
The entire thing lasted around 2 hours and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice little freebie from the OPC

Excellent I look forward to killing the rears on someone elses car. I was hoping at Mira to do the wet concentric circles. Last time I did that the instructor turned PSM off to show how fantastic it is. I prodded the throttle just enough to get the rear out and then applied some opposite lock and started lapping the circle completely sideways. After 2 laps he just burst out laughing and shook my hand.

Yeah i remember taking my Test Drive Plus which lasted the same 2 hours at MIRA. The thrill for me was when the instructed showed me the effective brake system before he did anything else, by accelerating towards a wall of tyres at full speed...I thought I was gonna die until we stopped with plenty of distance to spare!

Hang on, you got the car a year ago and you have now been sent an invite to do a free test drive?!
I myself bought a slightly used 911 a month or so ago and asked to be put on the 'Porsche Experience Day' waiting list.
Don't actually know if the Sales guy remembered to do so, or whether I will have to pay for it as I didn't buy the car from new (even though I paid a new car price!).
