    Engine is Enzo's detuned to circa 600 hp.

    Engine capacity, 5998cc, they take the first 3 digits alot, hence the 599.
    And GTC stands for Gran Tourer Berlinetta....

    So we get the 599 GTB.

    Ingegnere... The Cobra Daytona coupes started racing in the 1964 season. They had some early race teething problems but started easily beating the Ferraris. The last scheduled race was Monza. Enzo Ferrari believed that his team would lose to the Cobra Daytonas at that race. That would have cost him the GT world championship title. So Enzo used his political influence to cancel the race entirely.

    Ferrari didn't compete in the 1965 GT World Championship because their cars were too slow against the Daytonas. The Daytona coupes dominated the international circuits and scored 8 victories in 8 of the 10 championship races. Its top speed on the Mulsanne Straight at Le Mans was 215mph. In 1966 Ford replaced the Cobra Daytonas with the GT40.

    Oh gee . What happened to Ferrari? Their 612 wasn't a hit and you'd think they realize it and now they came up with this car looks like chevy from the back (can't pin point which model), OMG .

    We all thought Bangle was bad and now we have Ferrari designers following him .

    The interior shot is from the Giugario study "GG50". You can clearly see this at the postion of the air vents. If you look at this shot, you can see the real position of the air vents (like in the F430) and if you look closely, you can also see the manettino at the steering wheel!

    Apparently, you've taken Nick's comment to heart.

    If a car as spectacular as th CGT was a total disappointment. How well do think the 997 turbo will do with an overall lukewarm reception?

    This car will sell like gangbusters.
