And what the heck should be that top secret about a figure of 3.7 sec from nil to 100 kph???
That figure has already been posted a couple of weeks ago, also here at rennteam.
Well, it actually has started here and continued to other forums. For me and you, maybe there is nothing "secret". But for 90% of the regular customers, a 3.7 sec. acceleration figure from 0-100 kph is sensational.
Remember: the Carrera GT has been reviewed at 3.8 sec in Sport Auto and even at 3.9 sec. in another car magazine.
The Pagani Zonda S has been stopped at 3.8 sec. too, the Murcielago at 3.9 sec., the GT2 MkI at 4 sec and MkII at 3.8.
3.7 seconds are pretty spectacular, believe me.
And what is also interesting: rumors indicate a 0-160 kph (100 mph) time of under 8 seconds. Remember: GT2 MkII does it in 7.9, the Carrera GT in 7.1 seconds.
Meaning: from 0-160 (100 kph), a Carrera GT can't outrun a 997 Turbo. I call this VERY impressive.
But of course performance doesn't matter too much to you...you're a Ferrari driver, I forgot.
