...not quite a AMG model but it may be interesting for you: the Mercedes A 200 Turbo is coming, 193 HP, 280 Nm torque at 1800 Nm and a 6 speed manual. Your next car?

Thanks for thinking of me and the info.

Well, 193Hp in an A-class, impressive but dynamics will be very poor.

I can just imagine that high centre of gravity and FWD. The 193hp sadly could not make up for it. And judging by Mercedes manual gearboxes, err, best avoided! But 280Nm at 1800rpm is not that bad!

I appreciate driving dynamics much more for some reason, and am thinking of getting a VW Polo 1.6 GTi with 125hp, 5spd manual, bucket seats, sports suspension and a differential...

You gotta start somewhere!

Well, 193Hp in an A-class, impressive but dynamics will be very poor.

Is this new A-Class you are slagging-off the same one which you recently showed in a video "lapping" a Porsche TT on the Nürburgring?
