    Not bad, but I think they over did it with too many grills, bonnet bulges, intakes, etc. on such a classy car, no?

    I think it looks pretty good, a baby SL55

    Its very aggressive, and has performacne to match, a kerb weight of 1540kg and 360hp and 7 speed transmission, its 996 C4S quick

    I just wished it had the x55 Kompressor engine! Now that would truly be a beast.

    ON an aside, rumor has it that they indeed are going to put the Kompressor engine in the G class.

    I just wished it had the x55 Kompressor engine! Now that would truly be a beast.

    ON an aside, rumor has it that they indeed are going to put the Kompressor engine in the G class.

    Hi agree with Carlos, it seems Mercedes took te car to tuner on the end of the street for them to put some spoilers and wings among other cheap looking stuff. It lacks a bit of class and good taste.

    Hi agree with Carlos, it seems Mercedes took te car to tuner on the end of the street for them to put some spoilers and wings among other cheap looking stuff. It lacks a bit of class and good taste.

    You cqn have the V8 Compressor engine in it, just like the CLK55AMG. It's just costly, but you can have it.

    No, you can't. There is only that limited CLK Kompressor version with that gigantic rear wing and 612 HP (as far as I remember) but there is no chance for a special order for a CLK 55 K. No way, they don't do it, I asked.

    Regarding the SLK55 AMG: I like it, honestly. It looks aggressive, it looks like a little SL/SLR and I think it will sell very good. I actually want to get a black one for my wife in two years. I try to get one for a testride as soon as there is one available around autumn and I truely hope it handles and feels better than my wife's current SLK 32 AMG. I also hope that traction is much better, traction sucks on most AMG models.

    Yep, nice little car. I like it, perhaps I'll get a black one, but "only" the SLK 350 (would be a nice substitute for the silver SLK 320...). IMO the 272 hp SLK 350 offers really good performance for an acceptable price. As a sportscar I prefer the F-cars .
