I keep my Taser plugged into the cig lighter so that baby is always READY for some action!
(O.K., I lied but I do have a permit to carry my .357 magnum as long as it's not concealed. In NC I can legally put that puppy on the passenger seat but NOT in the glove compartment.)

Unlike a gun I am not afraid to use the Taser I have a model that almost looks like a cell phone . When I am taking road trips and pull into a gas station in some little town in the middle of nowhere with the top down and a cute girl in the front seat it has a way of attracting the wrong element at times .

Gun in car? Routine for some people. The insanity is that anyone would admit they carry one. Sorry. It's just asking for trouble.

Identity theft is big on the west coast. You can take your proof of insurance and registration to a copy center and shrink them yourself onto one two sided piece paper. Keep it in your wallet instead of the car, or just take the proof of insurance. Some professions make it a necessity, IMO. And it's concealed- so how would you know.

You never admit you're carrying one. If you do some antigun nut can tell the cops you brandished it. Then you're screwed (zero-tolerance for concealed weapons permit infractions) because how would the tattletale know you HAD a gun unless you "brandished" it? IOW, if you tell ANYONE you're packing you give them something they can use against you.
