My dealer explained to me that he will happily pay a premium for the Aerokit. I am told it will retain over half its value over 3 years (which sounds superb for an 'extra'!

I don't know this with certainty, but it seems so intuitive to me that I have to call b**lsh*t. Just look at the aerokit threads here and you'll see that feelings about the aerokit vary considerably and run deeply. It's a controversial and highly visible and expensive option. I can't imagine that it holds up well in resale. PCCB's on the other hand, at least as long as there is faith in the new product - and I think there generally is - must hold up better. Start a poll and ask who would like to have PCCB's on their 997 - I bet most will want it. Compare that to the aerokit - mixed bag.
Listen - nothing holds up that well in resale - period. Having said that, I can't imagine that the aerokit does, and I wouldn't be surprised if PCCB's do (provided prices don't come tumbling down in the next few years . .. )
I could be wrong, but I don't think so.
Dealers are routinely full of sh*t.
