What's not standard on the Cayman S
When I first saw the Cayman S at my local dealer I liked what I saw, but when I dipped into the catalogue I was suprised by what's NOT standard on the Cayman S, especially considering that it costs more than the Boxster S: Climate control is NOT standard; leather seating surfaces are NOT standard; even the PCM screen that comes in the 997, even if you don't get navigation, is not standard.
So then I wonder: shouldn't a coupe cost less than its convertible companion, especially if the coupe doesn't even have the standard features of the convertible?
Maybe I'm missing something. When did Porsche start putting "leatherette" seats in its cars? When did it ditch stardard climate control? Every Porsche I've owned since the mid-1990s has had these features as STD.
Help me out, please .....
