    Visited Aston Martin Factory today!!

    Had a great few hours touring the factory,the main entrance building is amazing! was pleased to see a huge range of different colours, mostly Tungsten Silver and Meteorite Silver, there was one yellow and even a white one! this even had a strange orange coloured interior!! these are V8s im talking about, also saw lots of DB9s. about half of all the DB9s i saw were on there way to Canada and the US! 3000 V8s a year are going to be produced, and about 1000 of these are to be sold in the UK!
    If anyone has any qustions about the factory or V8 let me know!

    Cool Grant,

    I am scheduled to test drive an AMV8 and DB9 in Florida here in the States in January. Any hint of an AMV8 Convertible there at the factory? I hear unveiling for the soft top is possibly Geneva (or ? Detroit). I know AM filed an official patent request for the top in the UK.

    I'm not so sure, Dr. Ulrich Bez's Vanquish S is white with ", the seat trim was old-school black and white checks" And from what I understand Grant was talking about a white V8 Vantage with orange interior. Sounds like a car destined for the middle east

    Funny that as we parked outside next to his white Vanquish S! it is pearlesent white with dodgy interior,

    i think that if you have an Aston on order you can visit the factory, we were there most of the morning and i did not see anyone else on a tour, so they dont take many people round! i was invited by my dealer, who went with us!

    If you read Jeremy Clarkson's article on one of the Aston Martin line-up in The Sunday Times (available on the Driving pages at www.timesonline.co.uk), he describes this colour (in his inimicable style) as "placenta red". How wonderful...
