996 Model Range & Trade in New Boxster S
I`m looking at trading in my 987 Boxster S against a 996 Cab.
I am not too familiar with the 996 range. I understand that there is the C2 cab & C4 cab but then a C4S.
They all seem to have the same BHP (320?) but other than 4 wheel drive are there any differences ?
In particular what is the difference between the C4 & C4S ?
Just a little confused about the models - I notice that the C4 range adds quite a bit of weight.
Is there a recognised winner amongst entusiasts ?
My local independent dealer has a an 2004 reg C2 cab Basalt Black with only 6K miles. Black hard top / Auto A/C / PCM & Phone / Multi CD / Park Assist / 3 spoke wheel / 18" Carrera wheels & tracker.
Ideally wanted PSE but with so few miles it is tempting.
They would give me a decent trade in on the Boxster Pounds37000 GBP. The 911 is on sale for Pounds49995. Not started negotiating yet.
I could wait until next Spring or end of next Summer.
Baby due 8th May hence the need for a little more room !
Would it make financial sense to wait or should I jump at this car given the low miles ?
