Really varies by dealer, not brand....
But have observed that BMW (at least in SF region) doesn't manage any tire replacement issues at dealer....
...BMW clearly doesn't think tires (and brakes for that matter
) are part of high-performance car servicing....
And Merc dealers in SF and NYC seem accustomed to more time and convenience-sensitive clientele, prob given the different socio-econs of the 55/65 buyer bases.....perhaps if BMW could sell some $100K+ cars it would understand that the time of a typical SL/CL55 buyer is more valuable than that of a typical M5/6 buyer....
