    997 Color Combinations

    I'm getting ready to confirm my order for a C2 Coupe and need some opinions on 2 color combinations: They are Artic Silver Metallic with Sea Blue interior OR Seal Grey Metallic with Stone Grey interior. My family is giving me 'flak' on both are boring. Since this is a Northeast area car, dirt and keeping the car clean is an issue, thus dark colors are out. I've got 3 day to sort this out.

    to be quite honest, in my opinion, they are both equally nice combinations. difficult to choose.
    Ok whatabout seal grey with black interior- better still??

    The combos above I would mix , for me it wuold be - Seal Grey with Sea Blue but if I had to choose from your above it would be the Silver/Sea Blue . Its all very personal and a must for one to view colours in the flesh..

    How about Seal Gray & Sand beige, Artic and Terricola, or Slate gray and Terricola, artic and sand beige. All great light colored options

    I say go with your heart


    I did Artic Silver/Black. It's my favorite combination and this will be my first car with this combo. I don't care that 'everyone has it'/'it's boring' either. I didn't buy it to please anyone else's eyes but my own.

    *my next P-car however will definitely be a more daring color combo

    I tried black w/ sea blue + carbon trims, looked good online, we'd fine out in reality soon.

    Hi, Thanks for all your great help. I was able to confirm that the Seal Grey / Stone Grey colors was my choice to go with. Now, I gotta go thru the waiting pains... ETA for a December build is January / February time frame. Cheers

    Seal grey/stone grey? I'm afraid your family had you pegged! LOL!! Your car will be the colors of a machine shop, or smog, or an aircraft carrier!

    I liked the silver/blue combo, and terracotta also looks dynamite (and very un-boring) with silver.

    Live a little, there are more positions than just missionary-style!!

    And don't mind my giving you a hard time, it's all in good fun, get what you want.... All the color choices is part of the fun in ordering a Porsche, you should take advantage of the opportunity IMHO.

    I agree - I went Arctic/Black as well, but next time I'll be more adventurous. Arctic/Blue looks equally good, but I think there are too many silver 911s in the world.

    If I get another Carrera it'll be Atlas (although I'm not sure what interior to go for). If I go for it and get the Turbo it'll be black/black (with carbon, red belts etc.).

    I think that Artic/Teracotta looks outstanding on a Cab though.

    be careful with sea blue interior, go and check it at your dealers place. In my opinion, sea blue would be nice with blueish silver but not with artic or seal grey, just my 0,02$

    Whatever floats your boat but I tend to go with darker interiors. The light ones get dirty specially in the cracks.

    i ordered the 997s cab seal/sea blue with a metropole bule hood it has been made and is sittin' on the dock of the bay waiting to be shipped . I'm getting desprate and thinking FEDEX aggghhh!!! 3weeks
