Dr. Phil:KresoF1:Congrats Doc! And of course welcome back.
Is that Nardo Grey? Nice one...
Double-thanks
Yes, Nardo Grey. Funny how grey can be sporty, but somehow this non-metallic color looks really nice on the RS-models.
Nardo Grey is a very nice and underrated color in my opinion. Fits the RS models and even the R8 pretty well.

Gnil:The engine in the RS3 is fantastic . I can understand the goosebumps . Great choice Other option could be TT RS but less practical and slightly less manly
Something can be said about driving a girlie-type car as it is better to be approached by women asking about your car than a bunch of pimply juveniles or doughy old men.

I had a TT , but was never approached by any women

You need a R8 for that... Seriously, my wife sometimes asks me if some (mostly younger) women have no shame, especially when she (my wife) sits next to me and those women stare at my car (or me...well, at least I want to believe it ) and smile or put themselves into a certain body language position ("hey stranger, do you notice me?" ).
Unfortunately, the reality is that since I am 51 and usually have my wife or one of the kids with me, the younger women are very likely looking at the car and not me.

Lukas:Congrats on the RS3! I had a blast in one earlier this year when a friend of mine bought one. Understaded and really a great car! Gotta love when the hp-specs from the manufacturer are lower than how the car perform out in the wild
Also great to see you back on the forum! Remember some of your epic posts several years back. Sometimes I think you could have heard my laugh all the way from Sweden, hehe.
Looking forward to see some more pictures and hear about your driving impressions when you have the car in your posession
Thanks, Lukas!
I hope to capture some nice moments with/in the car and post them here, and also excited to find out how well my particular car will perform re actual power.
I´ll do my best to get some swedish laughing going on again - perhaps in the style of "Preben och Preben" from "Nöjesmassakren" or Kurt Olsson´s TV (Internal Swedish TV joke)

I just found this dyno test video of a stock RS3. Very surprising that Audi delivers THAT much more power than stated.
Go to 01:21 for the result.

So, I finally picked her up yesterday
I´ll post more about it later for the hordes of people who have put their lives on hold, and now sit holding their breath awaiting more news and driving impression from me
For now; just a pic from the delivery.
Apparently they didn´t have the opportunity to present the car in a showroom, nor were there any gratuitous cheerleaders or similar to keep me entertained while I was led thru the technical stuff.
Instead I was out in sub-zero temperatures while learning about the intricate details of the trunk and other exotic features. Ah, yes. First world problems
I assume the car has winter tires now? Get this sucker some black rims...
Congrats again, Lasse.

That's quite unacceptable You have to reject the car immediately

Oh, yes. It does. A little too risky with summer rubber now.
And nope - not into black rims at all, much prefer these or the silver/grey ones they also offer. But perhaps I can handpaint some christmas ornaments on them
And thanks a lot
