Q about the BMW M6 Roof..

Hi guys,
I saw today a BMW M6 near my house and was wondering about it..
it had all the M6's signs..
M6 emblems on the steering-wheel, the M6 emblems on the sides & back
and of course! the 4 exhausts...
BUT! I'm pretty sure it didn't have a CarbonFiber roof..
though it was dark and hard to see, but I'm pretty sure it didn't..
I think it was a regular -huge- sunroof..
Is that possible? can a M6 be without the Carbon roof ?

dont think so. One of the emblems of the M6 is the carbon fiber roof...don't think its an option to be taken off...

I was wondering the opposite..

Maybe it's an addition.. as the roof comes as a regular one and there are options like sunroof or a Carbon fiber roof..

Nope, the only available roof for the M6 is the carbonfiber roof.

Yeah.. the car comes out of the factory with the CF roof...

I thought the only BMW with a standard CF roof was the M3 CSL!! I could be wrong though..

Again temm I could be wrong, but they don't mention here that its introduced as a standard feature on all M6s.

Talked with the owner and he pop-up the hood for me..
There was a V10 5.0 liter engine...
though the roof doesn't seem to be Carbon Fiber..
so it's either not carbon or it's a painted carbon.. don't know

No it doesn't specifically say that is standard on the M6 in this article, but have you found another roof option for the M6 anywhere?
