    C4S with PSE

    Ok, after posting, my "help me fix it post," thought it only fair to lift the mood, by telling you all I had PSE installed on my C4S last week.

    Frickin' 'ell! I have a new car! Its unbelievable! I am so glad I did it, and for those of you that haven't, do it now!! You will NOT regret it!

    Best money I ever spent on a car

    Yeah the PSE makes the car like a new one, and in the 996's PSE is a bit more worth it than the 997's!!! , glad you installed the pse in the C4S, please post some pics of that beauty!!!!

    May be from reading your post "The Stig" finally decides and installs pse in his 997S

    Its a beautifully, "controversial" Guards Red I love it, used to have a Seal Grey but fancied something a bit more spicy this time around Just uploaded a couple of shots to the Gallery...

    before! i was consider getting the cayman s but now i got my c4s !i think c4s is one of the best looking 911 on the road!

    PSE.. Thats the most important option on a C4S. Great choice.

    Serious Alex?? I heard thr PSE on 996's are louder, but PSE on 997's are better quality.

    They are definitely louder.. My friend has a 997 with a PSE and it sounds nothing like mine. PSE gives you such a rush and changes the way you drive...too bad fuel isn't getting cheaper.

    I've been in a GT3.. but don't remember the extent of its loud exhaust note. But it would definitely make sense that it has the same exhaust. Porsches don't come as hardcore as the GT's and the PSE is hardcore!

    We had a 996cabriolet with PSE, the sound was probably "higher"than our actual 997S with PSE, but well in general terms they both agressive, and a huge step between a non PSE and a PSE in both models 996 or 997

    I've never had the chance to hear a GT3 or RS engine sound, not even at idle , but I think base carrera's with PSE have to sound very similar....May be the GT3 and RS have a more sharp sound, especially in the redline....and the "Base" carrera's and carrera's with PSE have a more growl porsche sound....

    BTW, I'll put a straght pipe if I was going to buy an RS, like this no matter what porsche you are comparing at
