    Quiz ,, sorry its way off topic...

    Just watch a quiz program ,,, its a phone in one and each call cost 60 pence ,, check this ..

    1 Whole Lettuce

    6 Cherry Tomatoes

    Half a cucumber , 1 chilli

    Half a dozen mushrooms

    7 Onions & 1 Bottle Salad Cream


    Now add all the numbers to get the answer ...


    Its finished and I have the answer , I was just curious if anyone on here could crack it..I almost lost my hair over it and none of us lot got it right.And moderators if you delete this post thats cool ,, sorry in advance..

    Beat me to it GM, whole numbers makes 16 as you've written, excluding fractions.

    My first post is exactly the way it was presented on the TV screen and yes 22 1/2 is way off.We got the answer and we still cant work out how they work it out , lol..

    I put the anawer on the board later , we will see if we got any real hot cookies on here ..

    Guys, you know that quiz it's basically a scam, right? And that there's no 'correct' answer?
    It's a kind of show designed to part people from their money. TV stations were full with those, until either the broadcasting authority banned them, or people got smart (not sure which )

    17? Given the clue above about only adding the numbers...

    Or does Dozen count for a number, in which case 29?
    Or 16 if you being VERY explicit, and counting only the numberic characters.
