    They use Garrett ball-bearing turbos (superior to the OEM Porsche ones). I think the motors have held up VERY well, but if one grenades, you get a brand new one for well under $10k - I think around $8k (unlike a 996TT's cost of around $45k).

    correct al, it takes 9-10 weeks from scratch

    yup, it's easy to maintain and parts are inexpensive. so you can really play it rough with this car btw Al, should you buy one, do yourself this one favour... GET 3M paint protection put on!!!! the paint chips like you CAN NOT believe! had I known this I would have done it right from the start! especially on the front of the car and just behind the rear wheels.

    I mentioned to a friend I was interested in looking more closely at a Noble, and got this response...

    not transferable so it becomes a hard proposition to
    sell one, at least within CA.

    Does anyone have a registration address in WA? Based
    on the number of Nobles/Atoms/etc that come out of
    that relatively non-populated state, I would guess
    their kit car registration laws are pretty lax.<<
