Sorry - I've been in Montreal this weekend...I've received several PM's concerning the integrated Valentine One in the rear view mirror (I posted it a few days ago). It is a custom built unit that a high end place near me (AI Design - www.aidesign.com) makes. They have a complete package too where they give you the integrated V1, with two K40 laser jammers in the front and rear. It costs roughly $4,000 inclusive of labor and takes two days to install. The integrated is defintely a plus over having the unit hang from the windshield. I cannot stress how much I recommend them. If you do decide to go through with any kind of project with them, mention the fact that Alfred referred you to them, or PM me and I'll let the owner, Matt, know that you are interested in the product.

Just one recomendation, do not get the K40 jammers, they are worthless, so just substitute in their place any other of the jammer brands mentioned in this thread instead of the K40's, I can't believe they are still selling those.

Do you have de Euro-mode V1 version? cause if not you will really improve Ka detection with the v3.825 since it includes Euro-mode as well as US mode, and in euro-mode the V1's ka band is narrowed to the 34,360GHz+/-100MHz aprox of the european Ka radars, instead of the american Superwide Ka band of 33.6GHz-36Ghz.
The V1 is a great piece of engineering, if you just open it and look at the build quality is has inside compared to Bel,Escort, etc. the difference is like opening the engine hood of a Porsche vs a Fiat.
How do you like your V1 with european radars?
