I bet we will see a new CGT , hard to believe they will just shut down the part of the factory where this model was made . I am sure they will wait till all the last ones are sold but at some point there surly will be another top end model that will occupy that part of the Leipzig Factory .

My prediction....Porsche will keep all the CGT tooling and in 2008 on it's 60th. anniversary, it will release a limited edition (60 units) of the CGT which will have 750HP!!!

Just my 2 cents, I don't think there will be a CGT-II.
a) They need the space for the Panamera
b) I think their R&D department (Weissach) is now very busy working on the Panamera and on the Cayenne-II and I'm not quite sure they have enough ressources to develop another CGT
c) If you want to keep a "relative" degree of exclusivity, you must stop producing it and do another one in 5-10 years from now.
By the way, as far as I know they haven't stopped producing the CGT...
PS : I know for our friend nberry, the CGT ISN'T exclusive at all, it's a mass production car.

After E2 (Panamera) there will be the E3, a new flagship model from Porsche, spiritual successor to the Carrera GT. Mid-engined V8 or V10, due in 2012, components shared with P998 (next 911, due 2010) and P988 (next Boxster, due 2011).
