There are many dealers that will sell it for MSRP. There is a waiting list, but it's not that long. Chevy has the ability to build them pretty fast.

Grant GM will only produce 7000 in the first year and 10,000 per year thereafter. Porsche with all its look alike variations(Boxster, 997's, GT3, TT, Cayman and so on) will produce almost 75000 per year.
