    Hello from Frankfurt!!

    Hey guys, I'm in Frankfurt now. Was in Amsterdam for the past few days, got some funny photo's from there anyways, here are some photo's from IAA Frankfurt 2005. Hope you like them, I will be going back next week. Just popped in today to have a look, plus it's way too crowded on a weekend.

    i agree, very nice 997, looks better than the techart 997 next to it(will post pics of that too). like the 993 turbo styled spoiler

    all i got atm i will go back next week to take more, it's too crowded to get decent shots atm, no space, just ppl everywhere

    yeah it is terrible, which is why i'm going to go back next week during the weekday, too many people there too packed!!!

    sure stradale, i tried today, but it was getting late and there was no way of getting a near the car with all the people around the stand, nevermind even getting a nice angle of it. will do so first thing when i go back on monday/tuesday

    Yes, Mike,

    Cool looking cars, and strong work, given all the human beings getting in the way.

    Can't wait for the 997TT's appearance (? in Geneva). If I go to Switzerland next March for the show, I'll definitely plan to be there on a weekday to avoid the crush.

    I know this is the 997 Board, but I like the Aston's there too. If it's love at first sight , which one do you long for, the DB9 or AMV8?

    BTW, Mike,

    Do you (or anyone) know if the Mansory DB9 is performance-modded, or just cosmetic? Any knowledge of Mansory in general? Do they have a tuning program for Aston's?

    to be honest, i didn't speak to anybody from mansory. will entail about that when i go back, good question actually. But as far as i know it's cosmetic mods.

    as for AM goes, it's a tough call, the V8 and the DB9 are both very beautiful cars. the db9 is larger and has more presence than the V8, but the v8's design is just a good as well. it's like comparing the SL and the SLK. both are great cars, but just in different leagues

    PLUS the db9 has that beautiful v12 roar

    Just watched your photos on the other forum - for your information, the SLRs and Maybachs are MB's democars for "special customers". They had the Maybach parked at the very same spot two years ago already.

    The Lambo stand seems to be sheer awesome, fits right in the line with the previous ones and the Lambo pavillion in Wolfsburg...

    why can't I be a special customer? would be nice to get behind a wheel of a SLR *winks at fanch* hook me up

    yes the lambo stand is amazing one of the busiest in the WHOLE show. you struggle getting even within 4m's of the perimeter...

    I have read a statement somewhere that Bugatti's target audience is too small to justify the cost of attending all major motorshows. They are only doing Geneva, LA and Tokyo.
    Seems cost-awareness at VW clearly increased since the Piech era came to an end.
