I cannot understand why people are willing to pay more for an AWD in a convertible and some bigger rear fenders or sacrifice performance and options as asked above.
AWD might be a great option if you either do a lot of high-speed travelling (due to the calmer front end) or travel in very bad weather frequently.
I can accept the smaller rear of the 2WD models, especially if you realize that the C4S with X51 has the same claimed topspeed as the C2S with std. engine - now that is how much more money for hum... nothing?
Don't forget that you get several options on the S-model as standard, especially Bi-xenons, the better suspension and foremost the Turbo-brakes!
If you want to stand out from the crowd, get some decent wheels and maybe an individual paintjob. The new multispoke 19" wheels look really good, by the way...
