Goodness me, if that's the worst combo you have ever seen, you should check out some more interiors!...I'll still never forget a BMW 8 series - baby blue exterior with banana yellow interior.

Sheesh, while its not the best color choice imo, I don't think its that bad. Carmon Red is a nice color, but I dont know what a nice interior color would look best with it.
I've seen much worse color combos on this forum, someone posted an exterio orange 997, dont know what the interior was but frankly no interior color would go with an orange car LOL!

Carmon Red is a beautiful color. Terracotta is a beautiful interior. Together, they look horrid, they clash terribly. Tan or grey or black ALL look good with Carmon Red. And Terracotta looks great with all silvers, charcoals, blacks, and even some blues.
Orange exterior would be fine with a black interior.

Don't like them seperate either. I know Terracotta is a popoular color for the people here but can I ask - Does anyone question you about having an orange interior ?

In all honesty, my interior color has received RAVE reviews from all the car people I know, and all the non-car people I know. To call it orange, is very misleading. On a computer monitor, you don't have the slightest idea what you're looking at. Yes, it looks orange compared to the wine-rich Carmon Red. In real life, against a different backdrop, there's nothing orange about my interior in my eyes. I love it because it's a classic and timeless interior shade, very popular in high-end exotics back when cars were hand assembled, and interior colors went far beyond the mass-producton "any color you like as long as it's charcoal or tan" you get crammed down your throat these days.
But I can understand that it's polarizing. But, it's not orange. You wanna see orange?? I've got your orange!! My '79 928 below. Now THIS is ORANGE!!!!

Not the worst by any stretch. Red and terracotta are not really simpatico but there are worse clashes. Terracotta seems to be an example of what used to be called "pigskin". I've seen this interior and I believe that the texture and depth of leather (as opposed to vinyl/plastic) are essential to its success. It's a very difficult color to photograph accurately, and of course everyone has his own taste.

You gotta understand people live in different sub-cultures and different parts of the country and such choices make sense. Some people get their cars in their favorite colors. If it were a minivan you wouldn't even notice.

Okay, so this guy had zero taste but at least we're talking about a poor combination of 2 nice colours not a combination of 2 hideous colours.
But personally I find it so pretentious when people deliberately choose some vomit-inducing colour scheme for anything 'just to be different'. Yuk!

I'm still thinking about midnight blue metallic with cocoa. Any other thoughts? My last car was Arena Red, but was almost midnight blue. So, I've loved the midnight blue for quite a while. I also love cocoa, but not sure how the two would look together. Any pics?
