Recall of Touareg
VW plans a recall for all Touaregs that have already been delivered to customers.
They say there is the chance that a spring of the hand-brake can scrub and damage an unluckily placed calbe harness which can lead to a short circuit and fire. At least in one case that has already happened. The cable harness will be laid differently.
Although almost identical to the Touareg, the Porsche Cayenne doesn't seem to have this problem.
