    Glad to present you my new Biturbo

    I have recently exchanged my 996 Carrera 2 for an '00 Biturbo, Lapis Blue with black interior. I have it since 2 weeks now. It spent 5 years in Switzerland with a single owner. Considering it's excellent condition (21.000 km and still it's 4 original tires) I suspect it mainly travelled from Golfcourt to Casino. Obviously I'm still discovering the car but right now it's already a GRAND experience ! It's got nothing do do with a "regular" 911. Accelerations are simply mind-boggling. Brutal yet extremely linear. The engine's got massive torque so early (560 Nm @ 2700 rpm). Roadhandling is just perfect. I still have to get used to the 4WD but it handles in a very secure way. This car makes speed so easy, maybe too easy....

    The 996TT is one of the best "super car" buys around...I've seen prices under $80,000 (66,000 Euros) and the cars are typically low mileage and have had excellent maintenance...just avoid those with engine mods.

    nice car .. enjoy it .. dont forget to upgrade you chip it will gives you 70 hp .. you must do it

    @ Al Pettee: A 997TT, yeah, sure, but I'll wait for a few more years. This one's like brand-new.
    @ 964C2: no worries, this one's a pure original blend. No need for mod's IMO.
    @ Turbo_S: Take it easy So far I've got plenty of power...

    That car's just gorgeous, congrats!
    If I didn't know better, I'd think the kms were overstated. The condition is fantastic.

    congrats Dr. ...!

    Do you consider any changes in the interior? I'd say carbon center console, gearlever and dashboard trim pieces would fit perfect to the car and its colours.
    Alternatively I'd take the sportseat backs coloured or in silver finish as well as the dashboard parts (only the small stripe that runs from left to right - the one where the pass. airbag decal is positioned).
    But afterall it is your car...

    Judging from the pictures it is only a few scratches on the seatbacks that make it obvious that the car is not brandnew! Great car!

    Modifying the interior trim or would not really be my priority. I like the more sober finishing to carbon or alu trims.

    What I do consider is to get it ready for an upcoming trackday at nearby Spa Francorchamps. I would need a set of 4 wheels to fit some PZero Corsa's.
