    This car is Zanzibar, paint to sample. You can see it in the picture I posted, 3rd car behind the yellow one. It looked so much like Guards in my photos that it didn't seem worth posting the picture. It's definitely Zanzibar and it also has leather to sample. I mentioned in my earlier post that I read the window sticker and those options were $15,500 each.

    His first. Danny Chauvier, one of Porsches best customers, last count 35-40 Porsches. He even won 24 hours of Daytona in the either 83 or 84 with March Porsche. Our friends from South Africa know him.

    Not sure if Danny still has them but his cars included a 959 and a 904.

    Jeez, the Asian copycats would at least place some funny badges on the car instead of the original!

    The Zanzibar red CGT indeed looks gorgeous, reminds me of my youth when this redmetallic paint was more on-vogue.

    You must be young. In my youth, sports cars didn't have metallic paint except for an occasional silver car.
