Yes I am thinking. The hybrid means I can get a HOV sticker for the car. But the counter point is that it's not going to be cheap and at their MSRP price point, I just don't think it's a decent deal at all. If I get another big discount like yours and mine, then I would.
The SL range is literally 20% too over priced.
But as it is, this 'normal' SL63 is already very satisfying, we love the engine howl. Also refreshing to look at a non-Porsche dash/interior 😂

Not to steal your thunder RC, but I also just bought another car 😂
First it's cheap. Second it actually look quite handsome inside outside. Third, I think this is the perfect application of EVs. Small city runabout car. I don't need 500+hp to go bumper to bumper in traffic, easy to park downtown, the small battery means it can be charged up in no time. Supposed to have a quoted 240km range, so about 180km perhaps, plenty enough for a day's drive in town. If not 2 or 3 days worth.

Assembled in Turin. That’s a bit better than when Fiat Chrysler first assembled the 500 in Mexico. Back then, what could possibly go wrong with an Italian car assembled by a bankrupt car company in Mexico?
Christian, nice choice on the SL63; however, surprised you didn’t go with a leather interior color coordinated with the roof fabric. Leather seems like an easier to care for material if you encounter rain before you can raise the roof.

Surprise, surprise...the local Fiat dealer is offering a 159 EUR lease deal (24 months, 5000 km per year) for the electric version of the Fiat 500 and I was thinking of taking one for the family.

I really had not much of a choice, it was the weirdest car buying experience in my entire life: I stumbled upon it accidentally end of last month, 15 or 16 cars were left, not sure how many cars were initially available at the 26% discount PLUS the special lease deal. I found a black one which was perfect, it took me one hour to think about it and contacted the dealer (I thought I am doing the sales guy a favor but in reality, I could have ordered directly online, would have made no difference).
So when I called the sales guy, the black one was...gone.
Then I chose another car available, surprisingly this car was at MY dealership in stock. Perfect. I negotiated with the sales guy about the winter wheels for around 30 minutes and when I wanted to order it...it was gone. I was SOOOOOO pissed because the sales guy didn't tell me that he cannot block the car and he "forgot" to mention it. So I just lost valuable time and lost the car which I probably liked MOST of all the choices available.
The car had EVERYTHING I was looking for, matte paint, carbon interior and exterior, performance seats, Burmester 3D (best version), lift system, etc..
The sales guy didn't even apologize, what a dick. I regretted going through him, it wasn't even necessary.
Here are the pics of the matte painted car I liked a lot. What a shame I couldn't secure it.

Thank you, guys. 
The SL63 pricing is completely wrong. The car is real fun to drive and is faster than many would believe for a car it's size/weight but Mercedes made a couple of mistakes selling/marketing this car:
1. Pricing just isn't right. The should have priced the car in 911 Carrera GTS convertible territory (169k EUR). Base price for the SL63 AMG in Germany is a whopping 195k EUR. 
I think they raised the price again, unbelievable. So yes, I got mine (almost fully optioned) basically 35k under the MSRP of a base car without options ("old base price at the time of production of the car was 187k EUR though, so weird). Actually, I think that the base price of the SL63 AMG should have started at 140k with fewer standard options to attract more customers.
2. The name SL is wrong for this car. I know a SL customer who sold this car after only 3(!) months. Why? Because it was too sporty(!) for him. Others think this car is not sporty enough because they know the "old" SL models. The new SL is not a real SL anymore, it is fast, even in curves but many people don't know it. Mercedes should have abandoned the SL name and name the new SL "AMG GT Roadster". Much better name in my opinion.
3. The interior quality is sometimes questionable, too much plastic in sight. Take the airbag cover for example, it looks like cheap plastic, absolutely horrible on a 200k+ car.
Btw: The pricing for the new SL63 AMG E Performance with 817 hp and 1400 Nm torque has been revealed, it is 224k EUR (incl. 19% VAT) in Germany. Many options are already standard. This is actually not a very bad pricing considering the performance of the car.
My car but as a SL63 AMG E Performance, would cost with the same options 228k EUR, considering that the MSRP would be 216k. Actually not that bad.) 9% online store discount already included.

Mercedes priced the new SL63 E Performance much better. Not perfect but acceptable for such a car.
I think that the new E Performance could "save" the SL63 but I'm not sure yet. The E Performance weights 225 kg more than the regular SL63 but I heard that it is amazingly fast (the AMG GT E Performance is 200 kg heavier than the SL63 E Performance). Rumors indicate around 5 seconds from 100 to 200 kph. 
Regular SL63 does it in 7.7 seconds.

Here in Canada they haven't even announce the SL63 E-Performance yet, so I don't have a price comparison.
But for what I paid for our SL63, it's even cheaper than a base Carrera 4 Cab, not even 4S, before adding options.
It was a crazy good deal, full leather interior in the SL vs only leather seats in the Porsche, and power level on par with 992 turbo.

Congratulations Christian, beautiful cars these new SL's, but indeed you hardly see them on the road. Pricing to blame indeed.
I agree with your observations regarding the interior, I do feel MB has dropped the ball there in recent years, it feels less solid/well made than the competition from BMW imo. Not ok.

I agree with your observations regarding the interior, I do feel MB has dropped the ball there in recent years, it feels less solid/well made than the competition from BMW imo. Not ok.
Very much in agreement. Last time I sat in a iX, nothing I see/touch inside feels cheap. Even the plastic feels high quality.
In the SL, not so much. Like Christian said, the airbag cover is hard plastic, doesn't quite bother me as much however. What bother me the most is the plastic for the seat memory recall on the door, that one feels like Tesla quality plastic, definitely not German at all.

Agreed, guys (and thank you Porker). It is quite weird to see that mix of high quality materials and plastic, doesn't really make sense to me. 
The car itself is a treat though. It drives fantastic and the sound...best sounding modern (PF-equipped) car so far on the market in my opinion. AMG nailed it with this one.
