    So the question was originally how old is the average Porsche owner, not when did you get your first one. Even though that topic is generating some discussion too.

    I calculate about 76 responses (tried to eliminate the duplicates) with a mean of 36.8 and a standard deviation of 12.9 years. I suspect there is an inherent sampling bias with this being an internet chat site...so the original poster's info is probably close to accurate.

    I'm 19 now. I learned to drive at 15 on a 97 993. I then moved up to an 03 C$ cab when my dad got his TT cab.

    39, First 911 at 33.
    I have one daughter; I love driving with her in the back seat wigling (dancing) in the car seat and telling me to switch radio stations looking for music she likes. i also love how she tells me that she loves going fast in the 911 ( I'm not really going fast but everything else she rides in is a truck so..)

    29 About to get delivery of my first Porsche in 2 months - when I was in school I promised myself I'd get myself a Porsche before my 30th birthday!! So far so good.
    I guess we are all priveledged to own P-cars at any age!!

    Perfect timing for a new Turbo. It's good to make the baby experience high G forces right from the get go. It's kinda like breakin' your engine in hard so it runs hard later. Congratulations on both!

    I'm 31 and my husband (and P car co-owner) is 30. We should have our 2005 997 in a week. First P car for me -- my husband's family had a 911 when he was growing up, but the 997 will be my daily driver.

    First P car at 28 (996 Cab)
    Second at 29 (996TT)
    Now 32

    Nice mix of ages on the board covering the whole spectrum of the ones who think they know everything to the ones who know they don't. :-)
