Ferrari 430 Challenge or Porsche 997 GT3 Cup ???

What car do you like more for racing?? and why??

Porsche gt3 cup 3.6 400bhp

Ferrari 430 challenge 4.3 V8 500bhp aprox.

I prefer the new 430 challenge because I have the 360 challenge and it's wonderful. And the new 430 challenge will has 4.3l V8 500bhp aprox. Ferrari for me is very different, it's has maggic, and they are in the high level of racings. But the new cup looks very good.

AFAIK the Challenge car will have an identical power output to the street car, so it will be 490 hp.

Actually 483, if you go by BHP like most of the world.

But I heard 5-10 more due to less restrictive exhaust and air boxes.

The small discrepancies in bhp are due to DIN standard vs. SAE - different scales but actual engine output should be the same.

Actually your incorrect......European is NOT bhp except for England. The "490" you see is a DIN/max hp #.......NOT the same as the North American/UK bhp ratings which in this case are 483. Yes, same engine, just different ways of measuring #'s. But the SAE way is more "accurate" in that is includes ALL accessiores and a full exhaust/load.
