    Providing information is annoying for the dealer? Sorry, it's not a "game" - it's a customer service that is provided to me. I would imagine it does change things when production is completed earlier than expected.

    I'm glad everyone here isn't such a wet blanket.

    I see what you mean, but I'm pretty sure the costumers asking what is the status of their car referring to the status code are a minority (well, I hope so for the dealerships anyway).
    thruth is, whether I know or not the production status of my car is not gonna change when I actually get it, and if it's sooner, dealership will call to inform me.
    For now it should be end of setp, early Oct, just a matter of weeks and it's getting exciting, I admit, but I have other stuff to take care of than knowing the prod status.
    Now when I'll actually get the car, now THAT's another story!!!

    francois, your car is OTT but classy and with understatement at the the same time. quite a feat!!

    i'll keep my fingers crossed that everyhing goes well during production and transfer!

    And no IMO, the car is not OTT, it's what every 911 should be!
    Car should enter production line on Monday, so we'll see from then, but it'll probably take about a month before it reaches dealership.

    No, that's a much different problem.
