Got up early this morning for a drive in the country
Decided to get up at dawn and head above the morning fog and clouds around San Francisco and Marin County. A few pics attached. Had the entire mountain to myself...

It makes me want to buy a Honda Accord instead of the 06 997S cab im considering... I live in Palm Beach county Florida and all the roads are flat and like a grid. ughhh!

Great photos and beautiful car..
Dude, get your priorities straight....if you're a car guy, move to a place w/mtn twisties like SF/LA...don't downscale your car aspirations to fit a straight-line-only place like FL or Chicago.....those fwy on/off ramp "curves" just aren't all that exciting....

Beautiful pics flash, I'm a bay area guy myself and have never been up to Mt. Tam.. gonna have to check it out! Seeing pics like that makes me wanna jump in mine right now and go. I'm gonna throw my digital cam in the car and head up Hwy 1 sometime this week, I'll post some pics. Awesome ride, life is g-o-o-d
Re: Got up early this morning for a drive in the country
It was an awesome drive today. Here's the route for anyone interested. Its basically the road to the top of Mount Tamalpais. FYI a lot of car firms use this road for their commercial video shots as you can get forest, hills, ocean and clounds all in one place.

One more from today, slightly bigger. I'll post the high res versions to the renteam gallery tomorrow when I get a bit more time. Thanks for the comments everyone.

Awesome road and scenery.....also amazing is that one can be back in SF in about 30 mins from top of Mt. Tam.....great place to escape from the office on a slow late Aug weekday PM......
