    Terracota Leather and Adaptive Sports Seats

    Im working with my dealer on a 997S cab Im ordering and Porsche wont allow the terracota leather option with adaptive sports seats. Dont know if anyone has this already, the configurator allows it but the dealer says the porsche system they use wont accept that config. Anyone have this configuration? Im sure Ive seen a few combos like this and doubt its a some sort of special combo?

    Here is a pic I found of sports seats in terracotta. Can't tell if they are the adaptive style though.

    There's all sorts of quirks in the ordering process. Little changes made due to shortages or lack of interest. You never know what's going on. Anyway, it's not surprising you're having a bit of trouble getting what you want.

    hi

    it's not a surprise for me, i had the same issue when i order my boxster 3 years ago, and again when i order my 997s cab 4 months ago, the best way it's choose your options and after go to the dealer, if the dealer can t setup the car like you want he can call porsche importer for now what options are ok but not ready with porsche car configurator... but keep in your mind that some options are only "exclusives" and not avaible with porsche car configurator

    Did you have to do a "special" order or anything with Porsche? Spec looks very similar to that which Im ordering, very nice.

    Thanks for the feedback. Dealer is calling porsche monday to confirm what can be done, on Friday porsche basically said cant do this combo.

    i have terracota interior without the adaptive seats. but i am sure that the factory will accept the combination you want.

    My 997S Coupé has adaptative sport seats, with terracota full leather

    My 997S Coupe also has adaptive sport seats with Terracotta full leather. What a bunch of B.S., if now they're not allowing it. I suppose it makes our cars that do have it a bit rarer though, eh?

    I agonized between ordering black or arctic with the Terracotta when I ordered my S. I went with black, as I couldn't resist the richness, and the black paint reflected and showed-off the sexy curves of the body better. But the Arctic with Terracotta would have been a more winning combination. I simply sacrificed the combination, in favor of my love for black exterior color.

    I got confirmation back from my dealer this morning after he spoke with PCNA; they gave a new order code for the Porsche computer and its gone through fine.

    Thanks again everyone for the feedback; its always difficult to know what is and isnt possible when putting together a vehicle like the 997 given the level of personalization possible. Personally I think the combination of silver and terracota looks superb.

    It's beautiful. And a cab is the place to have it. From outside the car, you really get to see the silver and terracotta together in a way that you can't with a coupe.

    Congrats on getting your specification. As you can tell from my gallery, I am very interested in the GTSilver/Terracotta combination with the Adaptive Sport Seats. I may need to reference your process with PCNA if I run into the same issue with my own dealer this Fall.
